MACKLEMORE TO SUE RUSSELL WILSON OVER TRADEMARK VIOLATION

Seattle, WA - Seattle rapper Macklemore has filed a lawsuit against Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson over the usage of the catchphrase "make it fresh." The lawsuit claims that Wilson's adoption and usage of the phrase infringes on the tagline "makin' it fresh," which was about to be trademarked for usage by Macklemore and Dr. Pepper.

In a statement released by Macklemore's legal team, the rapper expressed his disappointment at Wilson's actions. "I've been working on this tagline for years, and it's a shame to see it being used by someone else without my permission," he said. "I'm sad that it's come to this, but I had no choice but to take legal action."

Wilson, who was reportedly preoccupied with a personal issue involving static electricity, has expressed confusion about the lawsuit. "I don't know what this is all about," he said. "I've been saying ‘make it fresh’ for a while, and nobody's had a problem with it until now."

Macklemore remains determined to protect his trademark. "I put a lot of work into ‘makin’ it fresh’, and I won't let anyone else use it without my permission," he reiterated "Dr. Pepper and I are committed to makin’ it fresh, and we won't let anyone stand in our way."
