Seattle, WA – Following their recent dismissals from their respective teams, Pete Carroll (Seattle Seahawks) and Russell Wilson (Denver Broncos) have released a statement indicating that the former championship duo plan to start their own professional football team.
Standing next to a life-sized cardboard cutout of legendary running back Marshawn Lynch, the pair made their announcement on ESPN Friday afternoon.
“Look, we just want to keep playing, OK? We have nothing but the greatest respect for our former organizations, but we just have so much more to give.” Stated Wilson. Carroll continued, “That’s why today we’re officially announcing the formation of the NFL’s newest, and most exciting franchise; “The REAL Seattle Seahawks!” I’m confident that we can bring back some of that 2014 magic and make Seattle a proud football city once again. Big Rus and Beastmode are pumped up and ready to go and we think our odds are pretty good to go all the way. In fact, we’ve already decided that win or lose, we will absolutely clinch our division for another shot at the championship, so, fuck you guys, we’ll see you in the Superbowl!” Added Wilson; “Make it fresh!”
